What it costs, and how it works.

A relationship with music that outlasts the lessons.

The Long Play is sold as a year, not by the hour. One fee covers everything in the program — the weekly teaching, the production workshops, the recording, the performances, the portfolio. There are three ways in, depending on how lessons reach your child and how far you want to take it. Children start at any point in the year; the twelve months run from the day they begin.

Weekly lessons are arranged directly with you. Everything below is fixed a year in advance and shared by the whole studio, so you can plan around it.

Entry families attend two of the eight production workshops; Core and Full attend all eight. Performances, jams and Song Pods are the same for everyone, at every tier — the shared things are what make it a studio rather than a timetable.

Joining part-way through

Your child joins in the month you start, and has access to everything above for the twelve months that follow — wherever in the year that happens to begin. The next calendar, October 2027 to September 2028, is published in September 2027.

Five things I'd rather you knew now.

You're paying for a year, not for lessons.One fee covers all of it — the teaching, the workshops, the recording, the performances, the portfolio.
Lessons run weekly, all year.I publish the holidays before you enrol. They're already in the fee.
A lesson your child misses isn't made up.One won't change the year — what happens between lessons matters more.
If I cancel, I reschedule.Same month, every time. I'm asking your child to show up, so I show up.
You'll need a guitar and an iPad.The iPad is for the production work. Ask me before you buy either.
